Lordbound was released on October 2nd 2025 and is available for download now.
Where can I download Lordbound?
You can download Lordbound from either Nexus Mods or ModDB.
Does Lordbound alter the vanilla game space?
The mod mainly takes place in the Druadach Valley, located in the Druadach Mountains between the provinces of High Rock and Skyrim. The entrances to the valley and some new NPCs are all that are modified in the vanilla game space.
What is required to play Lordbound?
Skyrim Special Edition or Anniversary Edition on PC. For more detailed information on dependencies, prerequisites and installation instructions, take a look at our Nexus Mods page.
Will the mod be released on consoles?
Nope, just PC.
Do I need other mods in order to play Lordbound?
While we generally use a couple of popular mods ourselves, you only need Skyrim and its DLCs. However, this is subject to change, so please refer to our Nexus Mods page for full details on any dependencies.
How long have you been working on this?
Lordbound has been in development since 2014. The project was lovingly passed between great collaborators starting in 2015, and we’ve been working on it ever since.
Is this mod lore-friendly?
Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: We’ve taken great pains to ensure that everything—from the new factions, locations, and characters, to the valley’s ties to the rest of Tamriel—fits seamlessly into the existing lore. The mod does not alter anything that is considered ‘canon’ for The Elder Scrolls. Our goal is to offer an interesting setting for players to explore as an extension of their main Skyrim adventure.
What if I sided with the Stormcloaks and took over Skyrim? Will it still be possible to assist the Imperials?
